Terra Sancta Limited, a New Zealand Company, is the holder of an "Off Licence" as defined in the Sale of Liquor Act and as such is legally authorised to sell and deliver wine by website and mail order.

By purchasing products via the Terra Sancta website you agree to and are bound by the Terms and Conditions listed on this webpage. These Terms and Conditions may be amended by Terra Sancta Ltd at any time.

SUPPLY OF LIQUOR TO MINORS

It is illegal for Terra Sancta to sell liquor to anyone under the age of 18.

It is illegal to buy liquor from Terra Sancta if you are under the age of 18 and it is illegal if you falsify your details in order to buy wine if you are under the age of 18. By purchasing any liquor from Terra Sancta you are warranting that you are over 18 and are not a Minor, as defined by being under the age of 18.

IF YOU ARE UNDER THE AGE OF 18, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE THIS SITE TO PURCHASE LIQUOR.

DELIVERY COST

We deliver nationwide within New Zealand and also into Australia. Prices are listed below:

  • All orders over $65.00 will be delivered free of charge within mainland New Zealand*
  • Delivery is $5.99 for all orders under $65.00 within mainland New Zealand*
  • Rural Delivery surcharge: None (we are rural ourselves!)
  • A surcharge applies to delivery to Waiheke Island
  • Waiheke Island: $18.95 on orders under $160. Delivery is free for orders over $160.
  • We do not deliver to Great Barrier Island, Stewart Island and the Chatham Islands.
  • Australia including delivery and taxes (until 31 December 2020): $85 for up to 9 bottles. $95 for up to 15 bottles.

DELIVERY DAYS AND TIMES

We deliver Monday to Friday through out the year expect public holidays. Anywhere in the North Island please allow 2-4 days for delivery Anywhere in the South Island please allow 1-3 days for delivery Rural delivery - please add a day to standard shipping times Australia, please allow from 3 weeks * Other overseas destinations, please allow at least 4 weeks (and talk to us for more details).

Terra Sancta will undertake every endeavour to ensure that your wine is shipped to you as quickly as possible, and on the above timetable, but as Terra Sancta relies on third parties to undertake final delivery, an actual delivery date cannot be guaranteed. If delivery is requested in time frames less than the above, please send an e-mail to Terra Sancta at wine@terrasancta.co.nz and Terra Sancta will undertake its best efforts to fulfil the order on the timeframe requested. Different delivery charges may apply.

COURIER

PBT Couriers will hand deliver wine to your door. If you are in Queenstown, Wanaka or Central Otago, we may deliver it ourselves.

If you are not present when PBT Couriers calls, they will leave you a card to say they called. Your wine can be collected from the courier depot or you can arrange for a new time for it to be delivered to you. If you choose to have your wine left at a specific place (using the comments box when ordering online) the wine will not be insured once it is left by the courier.

If you are in the neighbourhood you can collect your wine from Terra Sancta - and you may also be gifted some Terra Sancta eggs to take with you (and one of the chickens - they love a road trip!).

What could be better - as long as the recipient is over the age of 18.

INSURANCE

We insure our products up to the point where they are delivered to your address. We are not responsible for damage or theft to goods beyond this point.

CANCELLATION

Once you have placed an order on this website the order is final and cannot be cancelled without contacting a member of our team directly at wine@terrasancta.co.nz or calling +64 3 445 1670

WINE CLUB

1 year minimum requirement for wine club memberships.

PRODUCT PACKING

If your delivery has been damaged in transit we will replace it for you. Please note that damaged goods must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

If your order has been packed incorrectly and is not what you have been invoiced for, we will correct this for you (with our sincere apologies). Please note that packing errors must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

If you receive faulty wine we will replace it for you or credit your account.

No refunds shall be made once wine has been shipped, due to the logistical and risk issues of return shipping and responsibility for this.

ORDER NOT ARRIVING

Our couriers require a signature on delivery so we will be able to keep track of the progress of your order. If, for some reason, your order does not arrive then we will resend it as soon as we become aware of this.

PRICING AND PAYMENTS

Payments Policy: TS accepts all payments via Visa, Mastercard & (include any other card types here). TS is a New Zealand based business that accepts payments in USD, AUD and NZD. Credit card transactions will be billed in one of the Bank of New Zealand approved foreign currencies listed previously. All prices are listed in NZD and include GST of 15%.

All prices displayed on this site include GST. We make every effort to correctly display our prices on this website. However if a price is incorrect we reserve the right not to proceed with your order at that incorrect price.

If a product that you have ordered has been incorrectly priced we will call you to give you the option of paying the correct price or cancelling your order.
